Greetings,
I used to sail in Hank Abbot’s “fleet”, namely on both the Queequeg and the Hi-Q II.
Recently, I purchased a model Ketch with the intention of modifying it to create an RC model of the Hi-Q II in her current form but, after reviewing the kit, have decided to create a model of the Hi-Q II in her original configuration, as an unmodified Ketch.
Would any of you have photos of the Hi-Q II in her original form?
I’ve been informed that there’s a ship named the ‘Goldeneye’, that docks on Long Island, and is essentially an unmodified sister of the Hi-Q II or, in other words, a nearly perfect representation of what the Hi-Q II appeared as BEFORE she was modified.
Would any of you have photos of this ship and/or photos of the unmodified Hi-Q II?

I think sailors would be better seaman if they sail in a wider range of conditions.
